Stained Concrete

Stained Concrete is a deep penetrating concrete stain system that creates beautiful, mottled color tones in existing concrete.

Epoxy Garage Flooring

Our high quality epoxy and polyaspartic flake system, also know as Torginol, Vinyl Chip Epoxy Flooring or Epoxy Flake Flooring, is a unique product capable of producing custom one of a kind look floors. Our 100% solids epoxy mixed with custom vinyl chips and top coated with polyaspartic urethane creates a floor that is as durable as it is beautiful.

Polished Concrete

Polished concrete is a high-gloss finish gained by using special floor polishers fitted with diamond abrasive disks (similar to sandpaper) to grind down surfaces to the desired degree of shine and smoothness. Virginia Concrete Polishing enhances the natural beauty of concrete.

Polished Overlay

Almost any concrete slab can be polished, but it isn’t always the right choice if the concrete has major flaws such as patchwork, spalls, or other irregularities. In those situations, a polished concrete overlay can provide the look of new polished concrete slab that would otherwise be too unsightly to be used as a finished floor.

Polished Countertops

Polished Concrete Countertops are perfect for homeowners and designers who want a solid surface countertop that is different than typical granite or marble.

The advantage to using concrete is that it is completely customizable. We can provide virtually any color and shape. We can also add special colored aggregates to the surface to give the each countertop a truly unique look.

Troweled Overlay

There is an undeniable beauty in the imperfections of concrete that is mixed, colored and installed by hand. Troweled concrete overlays are handcrafted floors that are installed by troweling concrete across an existing concrete substrate.

Who We Are

OUR STORY

In 2001, a family vacation changed everything. While away, our dad—then a successful home builder—spotted a crew installing a decorative concrete overlay. Intrigued, he walked over, asked questions, and even jotted down the name from the bag of materials they were using. A few weeks later, we were on a plane to Florida for hands-on training.

What began as a side project soon became a passion. Our eye for quality and craftsmanship, paired with our growing expertise, transformed decorative concrete of virginia from a part time hustle into our full-time calling.

In 2010, our good friend Landon—who had been running his own landscaping business—partnered with us. Together, we expanded into polished concrete and commercial coatings, adding even more ways to bring beauty and durability to floors across Virginia.

Today, Decorative Concrete of Virginia is still family-owned and built on the same principles that started it all: hard work, quality craftsmanship, and treating every project like it’s for our own home.

It started with a spark of curiosity… and grew into a legacy of concrete artistry.
